Janie Dugan
Artist member since 2022
Windsor, Ontario
As a visual artist my world is full of colours, reflections and filled with visions and dreams. As a self taught artist I break the rules of complementary colours at times; such as in the Mayan Goddess Painting in watercolour.
Coming from an inclusive church we embrace all people in the community. Most recently, my piece for gay rights is now residing at the Robert F Kennedy Human Rights Centre in Washington DC.
Beyond Windsor Ontario and outside municipalities my art is going to New York NY this September 8-11, 2022.
I paint social justice paintings and climate change issues along with; using a Turkey Quill in Indian Ink for Life Drawings.
